This book is the Blue Ribbon Cook Book 18th edition, "for everyday use in Canadian homes". It is a tan book with red and blue on the cover, approx. 6.5x5 inches and 3/4 inch thick.

There front page is missing and so are the coupons from the back! There are interesting old recipes (sour milk griddle cakes, cottage pudding, toast water, cereal jelly, albumenized milk....) plus tips on "restoring tainted game" (pick it clean and store in milk for 24 hours then cook at once), etc. Fun read!
